hey there.
For years i have had scenes from the following shows stuck in my head. any help would greatly loved. No-one around me can remember them.

1)was a afrikaans show with blond twin girls. they are in a school play (snow white(they were the witch/queen)) and the one is injured and goes blind. they had a younger brother and there was a fake donkey that stole food meant for the parents before they had to go on stage. thats about all i remember of it.

2)animation: faries with flowers on their heads. had powers i think. names had to do with flowers as well. was a very girly show. think their houses were in trees too.

3)is base on les miserables out of the girl's eyes and was an animation.

1) I know exactly what you are talking about but cannot remember a name. She was hit by something that fell from light supports etc. Have a look at the vetseun website as they have list of old tv programs.http://www.vetseun.co.za/anarkans/skryf/anartv.htm Any idea if it was an original SA production or an import?

Edit: Found it, it was called "Sien Jy Nou". It was based on a book written by Elsabe Steenberg called "Dat ek mag sien"
Title Theme:
ek's alleen in 'n donker woud,
ek's alleen, en ek kry koud,
is daar niemand wat my kan hoor
is daar niemand wat my kan hoor

ek is bang vir dinge wat loer
ek is bang vir dinge wat roer
alles is swart en donker
ek is bang

2) Dunno. Was it japanese style animation?
Have a look at http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AnimatedTrope & http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Anime

3) Sounds like Les Misérables: Shōjo Cosette http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Les_Misérables:_Shōjo_Cosette but that is very recent, a further search reveals it must be one of these http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Les_Misérables#Animation so you can look each one up individually via google or clips on youtube.

Browse the links on Vetseun as lots of stuff was dubbed from foreign languages so maybe look under international etc.

I remember that one, was a great show, my sisters were glued to the screen.

Sterretjie was also popular back then, she was a damn hot chick.

I haven't read through all 17 pages (yet) :) but does anyone remember an Afrikaans childrens' programme with puppets with an (evil?) vulture/bird/dragon character? Some name starting with a K?
