Old uncapped lte deals going off the system?

recieved a phonecall from telkom saying my old uncapped lte deal 300gig fup one will be taken off the telkom system. And i have to upgrade to the newer crappy 10mb/s 150gig fup one or they will stop my month to month contract end of april. any of you recieved phonecalls like this? Or was he trying to bully me to upgrade?
 
They were trying to bully you.

I got the same call. Just make it clear to them you don't want to upgrade.

That being said - I only think they are trying to bully us. I wouldn't put it past Telkom to just go ahead and cancel the current in-place contract because of the reluctance to move to their current horrible LTE Uncapped offering.

For the monthly sub on the new LTE - if they do happen to cancel my service - I'll just go the Fibre route. I just can't justify going the fibre route at this point with the old LTE uncapped Telkom subscription i currently have. Just makes no sense
 
I have been getting SMSs, urging me to upgrade. I have also had calls from Telkom but I always ignore them. If this is true then they are going to lose me as a customer.

This make it clear in no uncertain terms that you do not wish to upgrade and you do not give them permission to cancel the contract and should Telkom ever cancel the contract you need it in writing. That's it and say no you DO NOT want to entertain anything else thanks have a good day. /end call
