Okay so this is similar to the what contract thread but not really.
I am looking to upgrade and all the new devices come with a hefty subscription amount. Thing is, I want the specs just doesn't have to be the latest phone. I previously owned a Note which was the best phone I think I have ever owned, not a Samsung fanboy, in fact I hated Touchwhizz. But the hardware spec was perfect for me to root, and run Paranoid Andriod.
So I would like to get an older phone like Note2 or even Note3 on contract. But this seems basically impossible. Note 4 contracts are insanly priced, I'm looking to spend around R500 odd but with at least 250min, 500meg data. I'm currently on the Telkom sim only contract which costs around R350 odd and with out of bundle mins and data, it sometimes jumps to around R420-450 p/m.
The nearest Note4 contract would be the mychoice 200, @ R650. only 200 minutes an only 300meg.
Do I have alternatives for older Notes, do I have to scrap that idea and start looking at the LG G3 beat and co.
