Older version iTunes won't open newer iTunes library.

Alright, so I had the public preview of the Yosemite and with that v12 of iTunes, but now I have gone back to Mavericks along with v11 iTunes and now it won't open the library folder. It says I have to update iTunes in order to view it because it was created by a newer version. So when I click update it takes me to the update tab in die Mac App Store and hence running Mavericks there is no update for iTunes because I am no longer running the beta OSX anymore. What now? :/

I had similar issues when messing with iOS beta's that required beta versions of iTunes. Only way I could solve it was trashing the library and starting over.
