Can you edit speech you have dictated on the olympus ds 55?

Example....if you say cheese instead of please, can you go back there and change it.

no you cant.

Olympus uses the .dss file format which is a file format used for criminal recordings. Due to the fact that you cannot edit the file without recording a new file.

It is one of the few file formats that is legally admissable in a court case.
