Anyone having issues with their ADSL lines in the Olympus/ Fairie Glen area?

My line has been down since the 16th Sept, Telkom finally came to the conclusion that the issue is at their exchange a week ago. Theyve still done nothing to fix the problem, I'm going %$%$ insane!!!

My MTN 3G card also seems to be dropping its connection continuously in this area...

Afaik that is in the 8ta LTE trail area, friend of mine works for 8ta and lives there. Go sign up for that, 40mbps beats non working adsl

Hows your speeds generally?

I ordered my ADSL line a week ago (telephone line already in) so I should (hopefully) be up and running any day now. I'll give you feedback, but keep me updated!

Yeah, if you phone and complain they'll "escalate" it. I think the word "escalate" is merely a placebo word for them, nothing actually happens when they say that they will escalate.

I stay in Eros road, internet is fine on my side. Might be a different exchange though.

I'm on FAERIE GLEN (TFGN02) Exchange.

Okay, My ADSL line is finally up getting great speeds, router is syncing at 10meg, getting 5ms ping, 5-7Mbps downlink, 0.98 uplink and I stay in Tipperary rd, Faerie Glen. Hows your ADSL doing now?
