I bought this Omega MG-600W PSU to replace my existing 450W PSU. I just opened my case and took out the old 450W PSU and stick in the new 600W PSU. Before that my cpu was running fine. I have 3x Different Hard Drives and 1x DVD Writer and 3x Cooling fan except the processor heatsink. So now what happened when I switched on my new PSU its not giving power to HDD all three of them. I tried to run them 1 by 1 also but no luck. I got the shock of my life when I saw that I thought all 3 of my Hard drives blew up. So I quickly put my old PSU back and its all working fine.

What could be the problem with the new 600W PSU? It got 4 connectors out of that 2 output cables coming from to give power to Hard drives and DVD writer. they are 3 black connectors and 1x red connector. mine two cables are connected at 2 black connectors.
Pls help!!!

Are the connectors molex or SATA power plugs? If they are molex try plugging in a spare 80x80 case fan (or 3), plug it into the power plugs that you plugged into the hard drives and start the PC - check each plug that you used on the HDD's - if they spin then the power is there - you would then have another problem...

The SATA-type power cable is the one on the left - the molex-type is on the right

Unfortunately it's the psu. It's why i'll never buy isonic. Try exchange it for a 460watt coolermaster or something. Will perform much better.
