Omnia 7 and Mango 7.5 Update?

I know perhaps this might be a duplication but can the Samsung i8700 Omnia 7 be upgraded with Mango 7.5 update via Zune and Ms Market Place? If so explain the procedure please.

Yes.

Just connect your phone to your PC and open Zune. If a update is available, Zune will notifify you right after the phone has been detected.

Microsoft did publish the Omnia 7 updates a week or 3 back so these should start to filter through to SA users since our networks can't block any updates. If you haven't received the update yet, maybe contact Microsoft telephonically or via the user groups for assistance.

I see you are operating within a dealership and wish someone would educate the Samsung Rep and their sub-contractor branch about these Windows Phones. They have a chap with a name sounding like Waka (Sounds like a famous Indian cricket player) working within the Vodashops/Vodacom4U and he only knows how to sell S11 Android devices.Just wonder if Samsung is realy that serious about marketing Windows Phones?

As in it's not out for my Omnia 7.
I know other Omnia 7users overseas have the WIFI sharing enabled, but alas - not me.
I have all the latest updates, just not WIFI sharing.
 
Guys a quick question when u touch the search button my phone opens bing in the browser isn't it supposed to open a special page where u can do a visual and voice search ? instead of the normal bing page in the browser

Yeah, at the bottom there should be a 'vision' button.
If there isn't then you need to go change your region to United States in settings.
This will also enable turn-by-turn nav in Maps.
 
I have just updated via Zune to windows 7.5 mango update but i can't seem to find the internet sharing option?, is it even been made available to the samsung omnia 7 on t mobile uk network?
