Omnia memory problem..

Hello

A co-worker of mine is using a omnia, I'm not exactly sure which one.

Her phone keeps telling her about a "memory full" problem?

I looked at the memory status and she still has 7499mb left on the memory card but her "storage memory" is almost completely full...

Any idea how to solve this as the message is starting to annoy her!

You need to read through the Omnia thread, basically it has 4 memory locations 2 are the 8gig memory cards (one onboard other a mmc) the other two are reserved for the operating system and apps. They are small like 95mb or something. Eachtime you make a song a ringtone or install an app it uses that memory... fills up fast. Yes its a dumb feature or should I say non feature, something to do with WM6.1.

She should install her programs and put her music, photos on the onboard 8gig storage or memeory card.

Use the file explorer. Go to my device and try copy the non-system contents from my documents to My Storage/Storage card.

Yeah, when I looked at her memory on the phone I saw the 2 95mb memory locations, one of them are completely full, will have a look and see if I can get it sorted.
