OMW new tanks that suck

I see a new breed of sucky waroir tanks on TH on low lvl as hy lvl my priest these guys suck so bad i just have to spam one heal with 20% threat reductoin then i get agro from ALL but the one mob the warior tanks.

Wonder wtf they thinking everyone dmg skull other mobs dont lose single HP how the hell i am i supose to heal without using fade.

Really i have had 3 groups that suck like this in RFK
I did RFK with 3 rogues and shamie and each rogue tanked his own mob was better then the ALL dmg on one mob.

Even had a druid that was tanking single mobs no swipe tanking jeez some people need to learn what tanking means.

Have to say palas do a good job tanking a group no matter spec at low lvl.
 
I think that you are generalizing too much... Yes there are noob tanks around, you will meet them even at level 70. It was just your bad luck to get teamed with them, next time try and use fade to avoid early agro.
 
Same here...but its just certain tanks that are noobs...same with healers...

What really gets to me is healers who think they know how to play every class -_- Yesterday, priest kept telling me that I shouldn't use Blizzard but Flamestrike because I'm a fire mage o_O

Right...so who's the mage? Blizzard does way more damage than Flamestrike...

Had too use fade after second heal everytime
and yes i lvled as feral and my healers never died before me could keep agro on 5 mobs with out much trouble even keep them off the dpsers
the once that dicide they wana tank their own mobs.

Really all i am saying is dont join as a tank if you dont have a frakin clue specially dont over pull 7 mobs then only agro dmg one and asoon as i heal once i have to use fade and if i heal twice i get gang raped.

I have never speced fire but improved blizzard can save you from a wipe.With frostbite and increased slowing efects kinda stop mobs .

But a fire mage thats not nuking same target as tank cause a healer to die i died yesterday from healing a mage more than a tank i had to shield and heal this guy he lives i die cause in the end healing gives way more agro than dps.

No it does not, healing gives 50% of its heal value in agro...
And as healer you should only heal mages when they absolutely need to aoe, if they aoe just for the fun of it during the whole instance then let them die :p

I did let him die 2 times then he kinda coooled of the aoe.
But the third time i felt sorry for him and my mana was full.

True, but I actually watch my aggro... :p

I don't have improved Blizzard etc as I'm fire specced, but this still does more AOE damage than Flame Strike (which I think needs to be fixed). I don't have improved Flame Strike either... (which only gives higher crit chance...woot?)

EDIT: And I used AOE in MgT at the Manawurms...

Fade has got a CD that a bit long if you have to full out heal a noob mage that dont know were frost nova button and the ice block button is soon as the 10 sec fade fades i iam dead cause i have too heal a oom mage that did not frost nova or ice black thats whats wong.

It ussualy ends with me dead mage with full health and shield on him.

Yes, there are a lot of noob tanks, same goes for any class. Deal with it or maybe try help them.

And the use of correct spelling and grammar is the norm around here. I don't blame d3th_n1gG4 for what he posted, your posts are very difficult to read.
 
I had exactly the same thing in RFC with my priest hence shes still level 16 or whatever
With all the new 55+ DKs tanking in wotlk its gona be rough
 
Meh, I'm not too worried about tanks.

Grab from guild or GTFO is my approach. (although now respecing is an option)

Healers and Tanks are far too important for a run to just take anyone. You can afford to take DPS who doesn't do much but at least doesn't try Leeroy.
 
Pallies are the ultimate tanks for noobs, since being hit simply generates aggro. It's not that the people behind the pally tank is 'good'.
Then they ding 70 and become paper mache'. At least until they step into Hyjal, at which point it's all good, once again.
