How many timse have you broken up - then got back together - then broken up with your exgirlfriend before finally calling it quits ... or marrying her ... over a certain period? ;)

I'm 2 in 2 years ... and that seems 6-8 weeks each :/
 
in the last 3 weeks we broken up twice hahaha

very strange feeling when u live together :)

now everything shees good for the moment

never broken up before
 
Met her in 1996, finally married her some 10 years later, after about 3 break-ups. Where Cheron, Tilana and Ordelia filled the missing spaces in between.

2 years on now and we're as happy as ever.
 
If it is not working, it is not working. Stop flogging a dead horse and get out of there for good. Either you are compatible or you aren't.... save yourself the time and effort and move on....

On for 2 years, then on and off for a further 2 years.

Until he got someone who isn't me (thank god) pregnant. That pretty much ended it for good :D

If you break up the whole time and you fight because of small things(lance would know about that:p) then I agree with you.

But I have seen most couples break up for a week, and then get married 2 years down the line, and live happily ever after :p

wow this is rubbish :) but to a degree true in some cases

i know plenty ppl who have their on off on off and now are happier than ever

so get yourself tested

Im talking out of experience and not just guessing, knew this girl. She's been going out with this dude for 3 years, engaged. Broke it off for a few weeks, got back together, then broke up again (slept with 2 guys) then got back together with him 2 weeks later.

Poor sap didn't know wtf is going on. They still together now (or probably broke up again dunno, moved out)

But one thing I can tell you is that breaking up and then getting it on again several times opens your up for diseases
 
Current behavior is the best predictor of future behavior.
 
If you are breaking up due to compatibility issues, as opposed to logistical ones, then it is best to just call it quits.

Well if you a boy and she a girl then surely all parts compatible?

Me thinks bm was on off at least 3 times and since like a zillion years later and have boy child and girl child and still together, sometimes when you younger you need some off time, and later am, you discover the joy of whiskey.

ps bm = before marriage
am = after marriage

In Richard Bransons biography he writes that when he and his first wife tested their compatibility he would come out in a rash all over his body. So apparently people can be physically allergic to each other or in other words incompatible.
 
Been together for 22 years and 6 months. Married for 19 years. 2 children aged 19 and 17.
One hiccup about 12 years ago, still going strong.
