on-road biking routes

Hey guys,

Does anyone know of any nice routes in and around Gauteng to ride?
I've been looking everywhere, but it's mostly just cyclists and off road stuff

I've been out to Hartebeestpoort dam before. Might be a bit out of the city for you, but its an amazing drive. Very scenic.

I've heard that road is a bit bumpy, but i'll give it a try. It's not that far, about 40km.
Gullinan is also a good ride, but that's about all that i know of
