Onboard ethernet port error code 10

I got a new mobo it was swapped out by the suppliers as the first was faulty and now the onboard ethernet port isn't working giving this error "This device cannot start. (Code 10)". I have tried driver updates but nothing has helped. The mobo is an Asus M4A88TD-M/USB3. Under device manager it is called "Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller" if this helps.

Tried the 8111DP DASH All-In-One installation kit for WinXP/Vista/Win7 install and still same problem when I try update to the 7.46.610.2011 [2011/06/10] driver it says there was an error attempting to install it the same error as before "This device cannot start. (Code 10)".

Problem not resolved any other suggestions?
