Don't want any of that stuff in my living room.Wireless KB and mouse, K830 Logitech KB and M235 mouse...
Yes, depending on their spec.Do these UHD Android boxes output Netflix in UHD? I know the LIT can't - what about the rest? I'm sure I read somewhere that Android boxes battle with Netflix UHD?
Then I'd say it's between the Mi Box and Apple TV
I think a HTPC is a messy solution.
How do you control it?
What software if you jump from app to app?
Unless there is software that gives the 10ft interface?
The Shield and Mi Box have been certified by Netflix so Series and Movies on Netflix are able to be displayed in 4k.But check my earlier link - apparently not every Android Box plays UHD Netflix ?
So it may run smoothly and be a UHD box - but Netflix specifically won't UHD on it?
That's my understanding, anyhow ?

Shield doesn’t support Dolby Vision.
Pointless anyway unless you have a set that does support it, which in SA is limited to certain LG models. In which case I'd rather use the Netflix app on the TV...
Not that I'm aware of...You can’t get TCL or Vizio?
My biggest gripe with both the Mibox and the Shield is their WiFi range, very poor, you need to house your modem in the same room as the box.
Google "chigz tech reviews". They have a nice chart listing all the tv boxes and what you get with each ome spec wise, as well as max resolution on netflix etc.But check my earlier link - apparently not every Android Box plays UHD Netflix ?
