One good reason

Is there <b>one</b> good reason why Telkom cannot supply a decent
ADSL sevice?

With no competition and no other better products to offer, Telkom have a stranglehold on South Africa's Internet users. Therefore, they are ripping us off rotten.

I have been capped and cannot believe the service they provide,I have been very careful in the past with my downloads but this just takes the cake.
Telkom is a @@@@@@@ RIP OFF.

Is anyone up for printing highly visible (read: glo-in-the-day))) A5/A4 stickers to slap onto Telkom exchange boxes?? With stuff like

"For INTERNET use SENTECH!" and
"ADSL is a Rip-off!" or
"Telkom profit 2003: R1.6 BILLION... does that say something?"

anything that will make the public look twice. These ugly blue and green boxes are everywhere, and I promise you i'd jump in my car and start driving if someone gave me a stack of anti-Telkom stickers [!]

careful... telkom are very litigious and would have no hesitation in pursuing you... look what they've done to date in order to protect and extend their 5-year monopoly... roll on Sentech, SNO and others! []

Anyway maybe that's a good way to get onto the news at 7, then i can open my big mouth about Tel-kom and how the gov. is screwing us over...

Their network has been paid for - by us, the users and now they want even more... wo'eva... happy thoughts, happy thoughts... count to 10... []
