Here is probably a stupid question: I have a laptop that I use as a media player. It has one HDMI-Out. I would like to send the signal to both a monitor and my TV.

Would something like this work?: https://m.takealot.com/#product?id=55474352

That is supposedly used to connect two media devices to one TV. Would it work the other way (one media device to two TVs)?

Otherwise, can you recommend something that will do what I need to do? THANKS.

Take a splitter not a switch,

Also check www.hdcabling.co.za

Very good prices and a big variety of equipment. If you need any assistance you can mail them with questions and they always reply promptly.
