One-in-All Video handling software?

Has anyone yet discovered a single program to convert all video formats to avi. I'm using three different programs, one for normal convertion, one for MKV to AVI and yet another one for Blue-Ray to AVI. Then there are others for ripping, others for burning and others for writing/copying. Surely there must be a one-in-all program to handle all of this.

If so please let me know

I know of total video converter, but it doesnt seem to be working with win7 64bit :-/
