Watched the first 8 episode season and really impressed considering it is filmed in South Africa and it has many South African actors.
Considering how huge One Piece Anime is in the World I hope Netflix renews it.

Currently it is 8.6 rating on imdb.

 
Actually enjoyed the first 2 episodes.
Not a fan of the anime as it is way too long.
1000 episodes? Get to the end already
 
I'm keen to watch this with my kids. Glad the overall feedback is good

Finished it yesterday, was very good imo. At least as far as live adaptations go!
 
I'm really enjoying this. Cutesy and violent at the same time.

I never got into the anime, but the numbers on this looks pretty good, I'll definitely have to give it a shot.

Jyd fokken jags. Anime is a lot better in each and every way. At most the live adaption is 4/10 and that's being generous.

There are so few adaptions of an anime that don't suck. Especially series. Something to celebrate not just be negative.

I can just as easily say One Piece anime is for the no-life abnormies.
If you have watched over 1000 episodes of One Piece anime then your life must suck.
 
Watched it. Was surprised by how closely it stuck to the anime. Quite enjoyed it.

Wish they'd done make up for Usopp and Sanji to give them the wild nose and eyebrow.

Also the fish men probably should have been CGI as the hulking monsters they were in the anime. They just weren't as impressive.
 
This is probably one of the best live action adaptations in recent years.
It won't surpass the Manga/Anime itself, but may make it more palatable for normal audiences.

In my opinion they'll have difficulties adapting some of the latter arcs as it becomes increasingly goofy.
Until then I hope studios take lessons on how to better do adaptions.
