One way traffic

Good Monday morning MYBB. Some advice please oh wise oracle of knowledge.

I have two P4 duo's running through my Billion (free MWEB) modem. Now while i can get traffic from pc A to pc B i can get nothing from pc B to pc A.

I have looked at my anti-virus , put a new network card , cables , set static addresses but every time i ping between the two ; A to B is 4/4 and B to A is 0/4.

Do you think the mobo is pocked or could this be a software problem (running Xp on both , legit installs, - PC B has a administrator password on logon).

Firewall maybe on PC A?

You didn't mention firewall so I thought I'd ask.

Firewall is most def. the issue.
1. If you say you can connect from PC A to PC B then there is nothing wrong with your mobo, cable's or router.....

Thanks ppl. Will check firewalls (i did check on pc B and assumed on pc A since i have never had a problem with two way traffic with other pc's with pc A)
