Thinking of buying the Oneplus 6(A6000) from Gearbest but have a few concerns:
1) Does A6000 model run Oxygen OS or Hydrogen OS? If it runs Hydrogen OS can Oxygen be installed?
2) Is the A6000 version compatible with SA networks?
3) Is the charger in the box compatible with South African outlets/sockets (not sure if these are the correct terms).
4) There is a significant price difference between the A6000 & A6003 models, is this a red flag?
5) Can Gearbest be trusted?

1: That you can ask on the site
2: https://www.frequencycheck.com/comp...ual-sim-global-td-lte-a6000-64gb/south-africa
3: Again you can ask on site, Gearbest normally good with this shipping the correct adapter.
4: No idea
5: I had no issues buying from them but regardless, always use Paypal for that extra protection. (Paypal give you that extra 6 months to issue a charge-back if you have problems getting your goods)

Edit After some reading I found that:
A6000 = hydrogen OS and 37 bands for China, no Google play service pre-installed
A6003 = oxygen and 40 bands (3 extra network bands namely 30, 32 and 71)

Go ahead with your purchase. I bought the same from Gearbest. Working flawlessly.

If it comes with hydrogen os you can easily flash oxygen os yourself.

5. No problems ordering from Gearbest. I've purchased many things before.
2. Most of the well known Chinese brands will work in SA. They cover so many frequencies.
3. They will ship with a 2 pin plug. Most charge bricks are 120/240 compatible.

Was also considering buying this model from Gearbest. Is it a simple enough process to flash Oxygen OS if it does arrive with Hydrogen OS?
