Ok, so today, after not getting any phone calls from the courier guys (after promises every day sofar that I will get a phone call), I followed up again to find out what is happening to my IPhone 4s order. Aparently it got cancelled, becuase why, of Fraud of course, I got accused of fraudulently applying for a contract. WTF?!!! The consultant that took my details down misspelled my work place so that got flagged. But instead of vodacom phoning to find out or clarify they just put me down as a fraudster. Apparently they will phone me and go through all my details again, but I am still waiting.

So my question is, does that "Fraudster" get logged somewhere? After all it is my reputation that is at stake here. This is quite a serious accusation that I need to clear up.

you know, on launch day my friend walked into a vodacom shop , no pre order or anything, signed a contract and walked out with a brand new iphone 4s

I should have done that as well, but I am at work which makes this difficult, and everything was going so smoothly until the issues started with the delivery. Vodacom in Clearwater didnt have the phone in stock, and I wont be able to go around to other shops for a while. I'm appalled at the service frankly, and now I just want to make sure their f* ups aren't leaving a mark against my name.

Talk with your feet.
Vodacom already see you as a fraudster, so take your business elsewhere.

Yep, cancelled Vodacom. They are now on par with the bad service I got from Telkom and I would not make use of Vodacom service ever again. At least in this case I have choice in cellular providers. The sales consultant I spoke too, says the wrong choice of words on their side was used and they apologised. However their promises for someone to call me back and sort out my details is still unfulfilled, so I told them to keep their contract.
