Anybody dealt with www.applecart.co.za before? I want to get the apple airport express with airtunes but ZA store are out of stock - before I contact applecart I would like to know if they are a reputable firm to mailorder from.

I got my ACD, mighty mouse and keyboard from them. Very good. The Online Purchase system is not the best, but it works
 
Za Store, but even they ripp you a new one, sucks to live in Africa does'nt it...

At C3 we say that Africa is the orphan child of the distribution channel. If it happens overseas it happens here months, if not years later. So we decided to take a step in the right direction. Here you go Africa an Apple dedicated web site all of your own, from an Apple Authorised Reseller/Service Provider to all of you.

Skeptik : Nothing. They dont bring anything new to the table. They are just a reseller to the Core Group (zastore.co.za and the Apple store in the waterfront. Also known as Apple IMC)

Interesting thing is that I got an invite to the opening of their new "iStore" at Clearwater Mall. Cant really make it as it is a long drive from CT. Anyone know what this is? What is the difference between this and their regular Apple store in the Waterfront?

Whilst we may complain about the prices we get charged here and the 2 week delay for new products, Core Group seem to be doing a pretty damn good job. They are opening new stores and Apple sections in Woolworths at a blistering rate. They have had quite a few professional events as well. TV ads for iPods finally, and quite serious in-Mall promotions at the waterfront

I was told by ZAStore it could be a matter of weeks before my bluetooth mighty mouse would be shipped but it arrived within days of ordering so you never know. Think I just might order another AE just to see when it arrives. Perhaps they have one in the back somewhere. ;)
 
adsl3g and LandyMan : Seriaas. Not sure about Pretoria. But you can see it in some Woolworths stores in CT
