I've had ADSL for 2 years and it worked well, until this new shaped crap, I recently bought Joint Ops (well a while back) and none of the international servers are playable ...on a shaped account, now R600 more for unshapped to play games ... they are stupid, ignorant, and lame assed ...

You sound surprised. Smack yourself on the head 3 times and then pick up the phone, call teklom and say - "I wants to be cancelling everything that you provide - NOW, then spend 5 days trying to get rid of the leeches with faxes and telephone calls.".
And when the debit orders still run for a service they're not providing, tell us about it, and we'll cry with you.

TheVoice, I play on local servers, but at 11am there are no local players online .... so I must wait until 19:00 ... ok, so why have 24hour internet access then?

Hey Harlock, Col. Habushi ;)
how bad are the international servers?
Whats the ping like?
I'm about to go ADSL aswell and while mostly playing on SGS
would also like to go overseas but.....

Hehe, must stop meeting like this Lordy! :p

I haven't done much international gaming, but it's not too unbearable. Gets a bit annoying and in a game like Joint Ops, you'll find your movement is a bit laggy and you'll be all over the place. If you're desperate for a game then it's playable, but I tend to avoid it really. Local is so much better.

Hey Lordy, Sgt.Elvis here :]

I find that the international servers are to slow for me.(DSL 512 shapped 3gig account telkom ISP)
Ping is +- 300ms-800ms.
Just dont sign a contract with telkrap for the free Router/modem.
