Having issue connecting to World of Warcraft some times. I stress some times. Generally it works fine but then it goes thru these phases where it just wont connect. tracertr included.

I also used to get that one error a lot. Same thing when I went to my brothers place and took my iburst with. It's the "generic host process for win32 services" error.

I tried googling, followed all recommended suggestions, but nothing helped so I reinstalled windows.

As for that problem it could be 2 things.

1) Are you running an nvidia/nforce motherboard? Nforce 4's (and possibly some 3's) have a bad onboard nic design that occasionally freezes the connection and makes you unable to reconnect until you restart the pc. The issue isn't with iburst only as I've done some forum scouting and have found Americans bitching and moaning about the issue so I assume it affects all dial-up based connections. There is currently no real solution as nvidia deny the problem existing, but if you connect via usb you can work around it.

2) OTHERWISE the generic host process for win32 services error is a now commonly occuring windows xp fault. The solution is easy as pie, simply fully update your system as the fix was posted by microsoft some time ago on it's automatic update system. However if that DOESN'T sort it out read this thread

Near the bottom I give the names of the fixes you need to apply that have a 100% certainty of fixing the problem (I had it myself at one time), so just google search them and patch yourself up.
