Is there any place to see what changes have been made between firmware versions? I've done the 6680 upgrade, and am now sitting on V4.04.07.

Grrr... they haven't fixed the problem of the connection dropping when you move from 3G to normal

I have a Nokia 6680 firmware V 3.04.3701-06-05 RM-36 (MTN contract).
Downloaded the updater software & installed it, but the program is "Not Responding" as soon as I run it. I have allowed the program to acces the internet, disabled the firewall & even closed PC Suite.
Could the problem be with the dial up connection or is the program only intended for UK phones?
Has any one had any success with this?

yup, I've had success with a MTN Nokia 6680. I also had a problem with the program freezing up, right after it had downloaded the update. The solution was to try it on a computer that didn't have the software suite/connection drivers installed. Maybe try uninstalling the suite and everything that goes with it, and then trying again.

I haven't noticed as yet. Will check when I leave town.
My 6680 is quite weird when it comes to charging. In town I can leave the phone on and within an hour it will be fully charged. At home again I need to switch the phone off or restart it before the battery will register as full.
No disconnection problems when the phone goes from 3G to normal GSM & vice versa for me.

data/web connection active & no need to re-connect when it switches from 3g to normal.Upgraded my trusty Nokia 6680 firmware online recently - very smooth. Now have v4.04.07. Did lose my settings but easily re-constituted. Downloaded contacts etc from my PC via PC Suite. What I did not realise though, is that PCSuite does not syncrhonise with the "My folder" option on Nokia, so I lost those files.
