How many of you guys actually play online games and how many are content with offline, single-player or LAN gaming? Also, what games are you playing?

Online: World of Warcraft, Counter-Strike: Source

Offline: Whatever is new when it comes out.

I enjoy RTS, RPG, FPS and racing games, all offline because I don't have Internet at home. If I was connected I'd definitely play online :)

I used to play offline, but once I discovered online gaming I am now addicted.

Every single multiplayer game I always ask, "where is everyone from". Last week's game had one person from each continent. That is kinda cool. The world suddenly seems so small!!!!!

In order of priority and attention ;)
Online
LAN / Multiplayers (mostly co-op)
Single player

before discovering WOW anything 2 players so I could beat my friends:D

after WOW..........have yet to play/attempt to play another game:p

Online-dota,bf2142,bf2
Offline-flatout2,nfs
lan party -mostly dota and a bit of q3

online only... i get too bored too quick without community and the friends I have made.
atm playing last chaos to test it out

I used to only play offline, games like quake 3/4, unreal tournament 2004 and trackmania... ;)

That was until I got ADSL...now I almost always play online...CS:Source, Half-Life 2 Deathmatch, Trackmania :D :D

Whats is this offline gaming that you are reffering to.
It does sort of ring a bell as though I did it in some previous life time...

Off topic but related ... but what does it cost you guys (and girls) per month to play games like counterstrike online? What sort of data allowance should one make on average? Is it done on ADSL?

Can't speak for Counterstrike, but BF2, with 64 players and VoIP came in at 40-60mb per hour.

When I was playing every night, 3Gb was just about enough.

Thanks! What ADSL do you then use? What ADSL option is sufficient (performance/cost)?
