Greetings Techie Nerdy Types..... :wtf:

I want to prove a point to the local IT guy in our town...

I have installed a single PC onto my work network via a 16 port switch, that in turn connects to the Internet via Fritzbox router.....

This single PC on the network should only be able to access a single predetermined site on the net, nothing else...

Is there a way (Software) to block access to everything else ?

Thanking you in advance...

Oh! The PC must also still be able to access the network printer...

CHeers

What OS are you running? You could use the built Firewall within Windows to block connections to all websites and then have one allow rule for one you want.

Set your dns address to a fictional ip address, and add one entry in your hosts file for the single webpage you need to access.
Internal network will still function, and only that one website should work.

* Please dont refer to people you are asking help from as "Techie Nerdy Types"

You see that as an insult? Are you still stuck in the 60's? Would have preferred being called a jock?

Without starting a war here, and this is purely my own view, but its the same as these afrikaans ooms that call everyone "ou seun" or "ouboet".
