Only in Canada......

Oh that makes more sense now. I know what a Cape Town is because I get my internet from there but never heard of Durban that much. Thanks for clearing up the confusion.

On a more serious note if I could give you some advice stay out of the Durban metropole, it's cesspit. Explore the north & south coast as well as the midlands to drankensberg areas, some real gems there.

Uhm cool! I will try do that although I am only looking for potential customers who are willing to buy Turkish carpets. Do you guys use carpets here? I know where I am at the moment people are not that interested.

Are you serious? If you are I could probably point you in the direction of carpet importer that sells to the big retail chains/markets.

BROADBAND USE!

EDIT: Go to Speedtest and check the download speed, USA is 1.96 Mbps faster than Canucks! =P

That might be your line ... but what about your neighbour, or people in the next town, or in the middle of nowhere, Kansas, Rockies, Louisiana ... ?

Fact is that the general population of the USA is living in the sticks for 93%, and only 7% are dwelling in kinda urban environments. In other words: USA is even more rural than South Africa. So many Americans don't have no access to any broadband internet at all. And even if they are connected they need to shut down the PC as soon as there is a thunderstorm in the area. Don't be fooled by the shiny facades of their mega cities and all their hitec.

Face it, the only thing worse about Canada is the French.

I take offense to the fact that you think that the Québécois are French. They're not. They speak a language that we (francophones) cannot understand. Whilst it disguises itself as French in its written form, the spoken form is quite unintelligible.

Source? You have non. The fact actually is that most of America is civillised and modern. http://yedda.com/questions/communication_entertainment_7352941669130/

EDIT: Show me stats of your ''great'' country I beg you. According to you SA is way more advanced than USA. Take into account that over 50.5 million people as of 2001 have internet access at homes. This number has probably increased by two folds.

EDIT: Here take this in your face bro: http://www2.journalnow.com/content/2009/jun/04/nc-ranks-41st-in-those-with-internet-access-in-the/

82 Percent of Americans with broadband connection at homes as of 2009. I think I have done enough. Long Live USA.

EDIT: Cherry on the top friend : http://www.internetworldstats.com/af/za.htm

10 percent of people in SA with internet, just quit now. America is way ahead of you. Whose in the sticks now? =)

Fair point, fair point. I do apologise. :p

I read the other day that 80% of South Africans are warm, loving people that are well known for their hospitality and friendliness towards other nations.
I guess MyBroadBand is where the other 20% hang out.

I think America is a great place with fantastic people. Sure, they have their morons but if I had to choose between chilling with a redneck hick from Alabama or some racist farmer from Oranje, I'd rather chill with the redneck.

I'm not that interested in Turkish carpets, but I'd love to see some real American ones...

Wat gat hier aan?

Americans want to sell Turkish carpets to South Africans on a thread about Canadian internet?

I'm looking for some roller-skating Panda bears from China myself.

Or is this the wrong place to ask?

;)
