I probably can't do much seeing 11 months has passed.

I bought a MotoQuip 35 air compressor in January 2015 and chucked it in my boot, still in box. Last week was the first time I started using it. Last night I notice the compressor says 26L/min so I look at the box and it says 35L/min.
Log into my takealot account and see I did order the 35L/min one.
Suppose I can't return it after 11 months?

Ja did mail them last night, still waiting on reply, not keeping my hopes up, should have looked inside the box when I bought it. At least it was something cheap lol

Maybe this was the reason it was so cheap?

:D Just kidding. Good luck.

Haha, well, was on special, I see they have it on special again, but for R80 more than it was at the beginning of the year.

Even if they replace it with a 35L/min one I will still have to buy a 70L/min one, took 9 minutes to blow up one pontoon with the 26L one, and there are 4 pontoons. Double had pump takes me 30 seconds a pontoon lol

Wasting those minutes means wasting fishing time lol

They are going to exchange it for the correct one, very nice of them seeing they have a 30 day return policy

See. Places can be reasonable. The key however is in the approach. You asked them not expecting anything. Would have been completely different if you demanded a refund. Big up to Takealot :)

Try returning something unused and unopened at Game within 14 days and watch how they do their best to put the blame on the customer.

I bought a 2.5 ton jack from adendorff. Box says 2.5. I asked for a 2.5.

Took it home and opened the box 2 days later.

It had a 2 ton branded jack inside. The pamphlet also says rated for 2 Tonnes. They refused to refund me the difference or swap it for a 2.5 jack.

They insisted that it is rated for 2.5 ton. It just has the wrong sticker. I escalated it all the way up to the branch owner and got zero joy.

Of course I am only comfortable using it with a 2 ton or lower load. Just not risking my life based on a dubious salesman's say so.

Customer service in this country needs much work.

This is the first issue that I have had with them.
