If you where allowed only one Char - what would it be:

Faction
Race
Class
Spec

I've never played horde - so I dont know the dark side :-)

If I could only have one I would be a
Human Tankadin (15/41/5)

I've never played one but i've but just for coolness - I fully kitted lev 70 dwarf warlock looks realy cool.

I normally only play Horde, but for me, the perfect char would be :

Faction : Alliance
Race : d0rf
Class : Paladin
Spec : Holy/Prot (not sure of talent dist)

Faction : Horde
Race : Blood Elf
Class : Mage
Spec : 6/52/3

And guess what :D I have just that :D

I don't think dwarfs can be warlocks. You probably meant shadow priest.

I'd probably go back to having a druid (tauren). Can do everything with 1 class- tank, melee dps, ranged dps, or heal. Can stealth around, stun stuff, nuke, cc, etc etc. It's really quite crazy how versatile they are. Sure they lose out on some pvp viability by being a jack of all trades and losing out on some abilities that the 'pure' classes have, but they make up for it by simply being incredibly fun to play. Easy to level, endlessly valuable in endgame PVE, and specced correctly (resto) are simply overpowered in PVP. What's not to like?

Faction : Legion
Race : Human
Class : Death Knight
Spec : 61/0/0

Faction : Alliance
Race : Night Elf
Class : Hunter
Spec : 41/20/0

My current setup for my main... love my hunter to bits. If necessary, i'd delete all my alts just for my hunter

Faction : Neutral
Race : Elf
Class : Druid
Spec : Balance

I like playing True Neutral Druids, unfortunately in WoW you HAVE to choose a faction. I tend to play Alliance though

Ha! The Horde isn't the dark side. They're just trying to get along like everyone else. When you end up in the outlands the Alliance and Horde are fighting with eachother against a greater evil. In fact, in my opinion, the Orcs are the most honourable race on Azeroth.

That being said: FOR THE HORDE!

Yeah, in EQ2, you have a choice of Good, Evil, Neutral.

And just outside Shatt they pwn each other :p

But yes, I agree with you: FOR THE HORDE! :D

Time to derail the thread... Have you heard the dialogue in Shattrah between the Blood Knight female and Ad'al after 2.4? (Only now that Silvermoon is in danger blah blah blah, the pathetic belfs go crying to the naaru) As you probably know, the Blood Elves have captured 1 of the Naaru, and were syphoning energy off him to feed their stupid urges. With that said, since the Belfs are allied to the Horde, horde = bad! Not saying alliance are good, but are marginally less evil than the horde

/end derailment

Since we're most likely going to have a complete talent rebuild again + 10 new talents, I wonder what our new '41 pt talents' will be

Well, now that 2.4 is out I reckon after the dust settles and the few items that require tweaking have been identified we'll start seeing Wrath details.
About bloody time if u ask me.

@OptionCC

Dude. Gnomes.
They nuked their own capital city, they're contantly tinkering with dangerous cr4p they don't understand... and have you seen them dance?
Never mind humans who spawned some of the greatest evils on Azeroth (Arthas? Medivh?). Only Jaina had the foresight to put the past behind them and get off the whole Orcs=Evil Green Menace racist bandwagon.
Oh. The night elves? They blew up a continent and some of them evolved into naga.
Alliance as the good guys? Pull the other one.
Playing various incarnations of Warcraft RTS's and WoW over the years has taught me one thing. In Azeroth, there's no true good or evil, only various shades of grey.
;)

Back on topic, how long was NAxx out before BC surfaced? I reckon we'll see the same kind of timeframe between Sunwell and Wrath.

I think it was about 6 months.

I'm not in a rush for Wrath to come out just for more substantial info to be released on the new skills/class/profession.

What you say is true.

Discussion time...Firstly The Highborne were turned into naga (the elves more attuned to magic lead by Queen Azshara, yes the Highborne were once Night Elves) night elves are known as the kaldorei, and their goals are to protect nature as the Tauren do. Secondly, they didn't blow up their continent...

When the Well of Eternity imploded at the conclusion of the War of the Ancients, sundering the world, the Highborne inhabitants of Zin-Azshari were trapped in the blast. At the last second, Azshara struck a deal with the Old Gods for her survival. Azshara and her followers were dragged down beneath the raging sea... but they did not die.

Orcs came from Draenor in the first place... enraged green mofos corrupted by the burning legion to slaughter the humans Yay!. Before that they lived at peace with the Draenai in Nagrand. Yes the orcs are greatly misunderstood as they were only 'evil' while influenced

Yes the Humans are bad... Arthas became corrupt with power, Medivh got corrupted by Sargares. The rest of your post i agree with :p Tho I didn't say the alliance was 'good'

Probably the only 'good' races are dwarves, who keep to themselves, and tauren, who are nature-loving cows. (EDIT: and the trolls with their genocide over who controls Echo Isles)

I can't wait for the beta keys this time round :)
