OOKLA speed test app

When testing my data speeds with OOKLA at it can be very slow. I then go in and change it from auto find server to manual and "force" it to test speed on another server. Say from Randburg server to JHB one. My speed significantly improves then.
The question : will surfing the net mean it uses the "forced" server or would my phone use the slower server, or the one OOKLA uses for a speed test? :confused:

I'm not sure I understand?

If you mean to ask which server you connect to when you surf the internet then... you don't. OOKLA's servers are independently hosted and are purely for testing your internet speed. You don't "connect" through them.
