Opel Corsa Lite Towing Capacity

Hello ladies and Gents

So is it possible to get a tow bar put on a 2008 Corsa Lite and if so what would the max towing capacity be on this small car for something like a 5 foot trailer

I cant afford a new car and i need space so i am thinking of getting a small trailer or getting a roof rack put on. The roof rack must at least carry 100kg. Which is mainly just for my tents and most camping stuff.

Oh no. I wasn’t saying buy that. I was saying a corsa lite and the Corsa bakkie is the same thing. So your corsa should be able to tow the same weight . (You would have to do research Ofcourse)

Do not put 100kg on the roof of a corsa lite, it was not designed for that much weight. Only SUVs such as the fortuner etc can carry a Max of 100kg on the roof.

Rather look for a trailer, Something around the 500 - 600kg mark should be fine. I am just guessing here though.

The Towing Capacity of the Corsa utility 1.4 is 670kg
something like this could be fine then

Regardless of what the manufacturer say legally an unbraked trailer's maximum GVM may not exceed half the tow vehicle's tare mass up to a maximum of 750kg
