Open DNS and Iburst

How does one go about using open DNS on Iburst.
As i understand-it changes your IP address. How do you go about using it?
I have been to www.opendns.com but still not to sure. Can anyone help?

It doesn't change your IP address

Do you use the iburst modem directly or through a router? Then we can help you configure it easily.....

Open Network connections and under TCP/IP settings of the iBurst connection enter:


Preferred DNS Server: 208.67.222.222

Alternative DNS Server: 208.67.220.220

Oh okay, so i would open my connection options and Find out where is my TCP/IP settings and change it there-Is that right?
I also use DR tcp - any thing that i need to do there

Sounds right. Don't think Dr TCP is going to help you.

If u use a single PC u can just configure the DNS settings for the iburst connection and just use the modem. Multiple PC's you'd configure the router with the dns settings
