I have had it with my Telkom line been down for over 3 weeks.
Every time I query, the answer is "It is with our technical department"
Added to this, i get the exact same message from incompetent robot call centre agents who are not even intellectual enough to have a conversation and answer any other queries.
Obviously, I am still receiving statements for this pathetic service, for which now I would refuse to pay since my services were down for almost a month.

Is is worth it to open an ICASA case and have them deal with it?

Simple answer, nope.

When Telkom fix the issue (so long as you have a fault number), they will refund you the charges.

And is there anything I can do about the time it's taking to fix the issue? That's the main thing right now. All services down.

Keep reporting it and escalating it..

Beyond that, nope.

try escalating on Twitter - but ya you will have to grin and bear it until they resolve - and they do end up crediting your account.

If it just a phone line and its been so long chances are they probably considering moving you to a FLLA as its become too much to keep repairing the Cables

Wow didn't realise those prices are same as normal fixed line.
Obviously I cannot go that route as I have adsl. Am I right?
