Open letter: Cell C - Goodbye Lars Reichelt

I was truly a pleasure having you as CEO of Cell C.

Why? When I was shoping around last year for a reasonably priced internet service and I found out I could not get ADSL the Cell C offer was released. And for some strange reason the prepaid data offer meet my needs perfectly and also many of my friends.

And contrary to what the MYBB CEll-C sub forum might imply if you page through it ... I have many friends who have used your service and have found it meets thier needs (many of whom have never been willing to take the plunge into broadband). I know that you did not single handedly perform this but you played a major role in changing broadband in RSA and I must say thank you and I'm sure many users would agree with me.

I hope that one day will will return to RSA to work.

Best deal I've had for portability was the prepaid 2gb with stick. (I didn't even needed 2gb, but still worked out cheaper than buying 500meg from the other colors)

Thanks Lars. Mostly for having the guts to actually do what you thought necessary. Some risks paid off, others didn't. But if you want to know where the true success of your endeavour's lie, just look at how the other MNO's react to Cell C now compared to when you had began your tenure. Congratulations. You will be missed in this country!
