Open local FTP server?

Does such a thing exist? I want to upload a few files for a friend locally. It only needs to be a temporary thing. Quickshare 30mb limit is too small for me. What other options do I have with local bandwidth?

Well you could run a local ftp and give him your IP address for it. CuteFtp will do that

hm.....ok setting up a local ftp site would probably work. Let me see if I can do that route.
