open proxies

I recently was sent a list of open proxies.

What I want to know is by using these open proxies will sentech still be able
to cap this??? or throttle it?

It seems it unless these proxies are also crap.

That list of open proxies would only be worth it if they were local proxies on high speed connections. Of course, no open proxies exist in South Africa for obvious reasons.

International proxies will actually slow you down for the most part, considering scumtech throttles you down to 4.7 anyway.

What you need to find is a connection with thier own server on a decent local backbone who have bandwidth to spare. They can then setup a private proxy.

I've setup a CGI proxy on my Hetzner account that I use when my ADSL is capped. I host about 10 clients and use only 1gig of my 3.5gig of traffic, so it makes good sense to at least use what I'm paying for.

ah well... i am awaiting iBurst patiently... see what happens when they launch
