Open Source Speech Recognition Software

Hi guys

Firstly, does anyone have any experience with speech recognition?

Im trying to make a solution similar to how Google Voice Search works on Android and iOS, a largely generic voice search engine that requires no training like the older style of voice recognition software

I have toyed with the top two solutions (well the two with the biggest communities) and they are not what im looking for

Anyone know anything in this field perhaps? help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm also in the same situation. The sad fact is that there's no open-source voice recognition software out there that meets your specifications. If you do find anything, please let us know!
