Is anybody using the openelec eden beta?
Wanted to know if its running smoothly or are there still kinks to works out.
Just got my n40l yesterday so want to know what openelc version to install.:D

Check the microserver thread. A few people have upgraded to 2.0 with the only issue being sabnzbd not starting on boot. I would go with 1.0 if you want to be sure of a hassle free installation. upgrading seems simple anyway.

At the moment I'll stick to Windows 7 & XMBC Eden.

My reason is I use the xbox controller to control XMBX, with xpadder. I prefer it to an infra red remote because it's way more responsive, every button click works, controlling the mouse pointer with analogue sticks is extremely seamless and you don't have to point the controller at anything because it's radio frequency.

I will also use it for the emulators when I get around to it.

Anyone got a gamepad to work with Openelec? I'm sure there are ways.

I Have EDEN beta installed and all good thus far. Dont use sabnzbs yet thou. Only issue is when I boot up with the TV off or on DSTV ( i.e not directly linked into xbmc ) there is no display when I switch to xbmc . I can connect however via laptop.
