Hey guys,

I just installed Openelec V2 (came from W7+XBMC) and now my remote is not working.
I've got a Microsoft MCE RC6 receiver and a Harmony 650 remote.

Everything worked fine in W7, but now nothing.
I have changed the setting to "remote sends keys" and tried a different USB port, nothing.

IRW command doesn't detect anything even thou the receiver show a red light when I press a button
lsusb displays the following, so the receiver is detected.

Bus 001 Device 005: ID 058f:6366 Alcor Micro Corp. Multi Flash Reader
Bus 001 Device 006: ID 0e8f:0022 GreenAsia Inc.

Can anybody give me any advice to get this working.
This is a clean install of Openelec V2 to a USB drive with nothing else messed with.
Any help would be appreciated.

No immediate suggestions, my chinese remote worked out of the box, fortunately. Maybe you will get more help in the openelec forums?

I have a post there also :D
Strange thing is that I can wake-up the PC from sleep with the remote, but then nothing afterwards.

Hi There,
I asked one of my technical friends for hiss learned insight. He can be a bit short with the information but this is what he said:
IRQ on that BUS is out of SYNC. Instead of using software controlled clock for bus it is using CPU clock which is clearly out of sync ( it can wake-up but nothing else )

I have asked him for info on how to fix it but maybe this helps in the meantime

Warmest regards

Tim
