Openelec SD card partition resize

I'm running Openelec on my Raspberry Pi from a 4GB SD card. The Openelec file system only used 1GB though (131.MB system and 805.3MB storage) with the rest (3.03GB) free space. Is there a way to resize the storage partition to use the unallocated space or, alternatively, create a new partition in the unallocated space?

P.S. My primary computer is a MacBook Pro, but I do have access to a Windows machine if necessary.

Not sure if you've figured out an answer in the last few weeks, but I had the same issues with my RPi and OpenELEC, so I figured out how to resize the storage partition on my own. Hope this helps!

Methinks you can wave goodbye to you RPi.
