A few weeks ago I unwittingly befriended a confidence man of sorts. The short version of the story is that two weeks later he had helped himself without my permission to my R7000 wrist watch.
Naturally I want to report the matter to the police, regardless of whether I can actually get my property back.
My concern is this: This individual is of a highly dubious nature and I'm not sure what he is capable of. Right now he has no idea where I live and I prefer it that way. If the police create a docket it surely has my personal information attached to it and this surely opens up the possibility he might somehow gain access to it?
