Openserve app appointment scheduling

Why does openserve allow you to schedule an appointment on their app.. then you keep that time open for your installation or whatever.... And then the technician is a no show... Without any feedback from anyone... I mean... I picked a specific time because I won't be free for the rest of the day... But then again .... I have dealt with openserve techs twice before and both times they pissed me off because they had little to no respect (I'm sure it's just the fools in this area and not all openserve techs). Anyway I don't know if it's openserve or the arrogance of the technician in George that's making me lose money and wasting my time.
 
Is there mutual respect or expected respect, regardless.
 
You're expecting too much. Lower your expectations and you'll avoid disappointment.
 
Have never gotten the app to work for me both fibre and adsl (gives a different number for OTP). However the technicians usually call me to confirm appointment and then call minutes before the appointment to confirm that everything is in place. They also usually let you take down their number for any issues or queries.
 
Weird, I have had great service from openserve numerous times over 4 years. Based in Johannesburg though
 
So yesterday after posting the thread... I finally got a technician out here after 4pm.. but only for a few minutes because apparently it was "getting too dark" .. so we agreed that he may finish up this morning.. this morning they came just after 8a.m for 10 minutes.... It's now just after 4pm. Lol no openserve.... Another day lost for me... And I have told the tech yesterday that It will be difficult but I will do my best to accommodate him this morning.. but I suppose it wasn't too important I mean who cares about the client's schedule right? Funny thing is the status of my installation is stuck on "we are here" since this morning.. anyway day 2 and I suppose they will make me lose a 3rd. I wonder who's fault it'll be once they eventually have time for me and I am at work...
