Openserve Black box on pole

Openserve installed this black box on the pole today (yay) after putting up new cables over the weekend.

Any idea how long before fibre is active? Are we talking weeks or months?

The telkom website shows nothing in our street although another part of the suburb has pre order available.

Also, how strong are those cables? Lots of trees and vervet monkeys

@OP I would say 6-8 weeks hopefully. But that was in my own experience in my neighborhood.

But rule of thumb is to check the openserve site and take it from there.
