Hi @Captain Axxess,

I am a Axxess client but our fibre cable is through openserve. Someone cut the fibre cable on the corner of our block - I reported it with Axxess but didn't sound like its going to be a priority. How do I track the fault and how can I escalate it? May I ask for a refund for the period that we are without internet?

It's a few homes without internet and in a perfect world that would matter

Probably won't get a refund, but I'd suggest downloading the Openserve App... I've always reported faults on there and usually gets reported and sorted really quickly.
Our cable broke twice in the past year, once due to bad workmanship by the initial installer, and another time a tree fell over and snapped the line, both times they fixed it in under 24 hours.

just keep reporting it every few hours, then post on all their social media sites. Of course you'll need proof that it is actually Openserves cable that is broken and not some Axxess problem with their servers etc.

This is why I currently stay with evotel, they fix quick, while openserve is also an option. The salesmen from telkom/open sitting under the umbrella told me online you are going to wait, but putting in a reqeust with him is fast.

With Vumatel.

A while back someone in the neighbourhood got a new line installed. They somehow disconnected our line (complex with several tenants) and provisioned it for the new guy.

Vumatel came out after 8PM and their techie resolved it.
