Openserve direct or via Axxess, Afrihost etc?

Hi,

Openserve are currently laying fibre in my area and it is available for pre-order.

Would it be best to take it directly from Telkom or via one of the other providers like Axxess, Afrihost etc?
And if via one of these others, which one and why?

On direct anytime there is a issue you deal with them

The other ISPs provide variable L1 and L2 support that can make or break the experience

I have/had a account with each of them and so far they are always willing to assist so would recommend all of them

I have Openserve (aerial fibre provider) and Afrihost as ISP (data and support); what I like about this is that, Afrihost manages everything, from speed issues, accounts, changing packages, fault reporting and also working with Openserve when lines are down (hardware fibre issues). Their mobile App just works!

With experience the alternate ISP provider performs better service as they buy bulk from openserve and they always get priority, but dealing directly with openserve is not always advisable as they make you wait a couple of days before resolving any issues you may have..
