Hi there, just wanted to find out if anyone knows what happens when your line gets released into the holding pool on openserve? My old ISP is releasing my line on the 1st of May into the holding pool for 10 days. My question is, will I still be able to use the internet when I log in with my new active PPPoe details before the migration happens?

My new ISP can only do the migration after that weekend so the line will be in the holding pool for a few days and I am worried that I will not be able to use my backup account for internet while i wait for the migration. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I migrated ISPs on OpenServe at the beginning of this month.

There is no downtime, the release to the holding pool simply allows your new ISP to pick up the order for the line and take it over, but there is no downtime during this process.

I even asked my new ISP a few days before the end of the month to please send me pppoe details pro-rata and that worked as well.

After the 1st they migrate the line in 48 hours. But this does not affect you or your connectivity.

That's great to hear, I also asked for my PPPoe details pro rata so I should be fine then. Who did you move from and to ?

Sweet I'm also moving to MTS, only concern I had was that they can only migrate the line on the 4th when it is being released on the 1st, so I'm just getting my pppoe details early.
