Openserve fibre in George

I'm trying to arrange a fibre connection for in-laws in George. There is a big Openserve box around the corner from them, and a Frogfoot connection outside their front gate.
Everyone says Frogfoot is terrible in the Sthn Cape. But when I go to the Openserve site and choose CoolIdeas as ISP the only package on offer is via Frogfoot. The Afrihost site reached via Openserve doesn't tell me who runs the network when I choose a package.
How do I make sure I get service via Openserve without individually clicking through their (long) list of partners?

Hi, Openserve VSDL is a great alternative to fiber, since you have 40mbps VDSL coverage in your area. Afrihost PureDSL 40mbps is priced at R697 per month and offers free installation and connection for uncapped, unshaped, unthrottled Internet with No FUP. Maybe later Openserve fiber will become available, and you can move to that service later on. I had 40mbps PureDSL with Afrihost and it was pure Heaven before Vuma fiber became available in my area. You will not be disappointed.

Thanks @MEG101. Only downside I can see is that it would be vulnerable to lightning and copper thieves. But this is George, not Joburg

Pleasure, yes unfortunately lightning will always have a effect on copper, I suggest when a thunderstorm is underway or approaching, plug the modem out of the phone socket and when the storm passed, plug everything back in again. You get good surge protectors, but I still unplug mine during thunderstorms, I have lost too many modems. According to the Openserve technician that installed my mother's PureDSL line in Groot Brakrivier, most of the copper lines run underground, making it harder for copper thieves, but we all know nothing is thief proof. That is why in most areas, Openserve is decommissioning copper and replacing with fiber, so in the end you will get a fiber connection to replace your copper connection.

I also suggest getting a good VDSL modem with a good wireless range and 4 LAN ports, so if you add computers or laptops to the LAN ports, there will be enough ports available. I suggest one of these
