Openserve lines wrecked by heavy rain

Openserve has stated that bad weather in KwaZulu-Natal has “wreaked havoc” on its infrastructure in the province.

This has resulted in a “significant increase in network related faults”.

“The flooding has restricted technicians from accessing underground accesses in the fault zones and will cause delays in repair times,” said Openserve.

That is just fantastic news!

My ADSL has been down for three weeks since some idiot from the municipality chopped a main cable with an excavator whilst repairing a water pipe. Three weeks! Isn't that lovely?

Now Telkom will use this "great flood of 19" as an excuse to take even longer!
