@PBCool I see there's new pricing for openserve (also just saw there's an email too). I'm currently on a 100/50 line, and see that for the same price I could now get the 200/100.

If I do nothing will my automatically price drop from R1499 to R1199 this month?
Or... what would I need to do to upgrade to the R1499 200/100 package instead - still deciding if I should enjoy the lower cost or grab the higher speed at the same price.

I see now it's from beginning of Nov, so assume my latest bill will be cheaper then. Nice.

Well I think you should have upgraded to take advantage of the new pricing as the auto price adjustments will only be in affect this month not sure though so don't quote me on that.

Anyone know what SADVs new prices will be.

Well I see CISP did add the 200/100 SADV package for R1299

I'm more surprised by the Openserve price cuts from CISP because just a few weeks prior PBCool was saying IPC and NNI is just too expensive on Openserve and then boom massive prices drops but I don't see any other ISPs dropping prices like that so IPC and NNI costs are not down yet....

Ah ok - well still need to decide if I want to upgrade. R300 in my pocket every month or double the speed... hard decision.

I rather decided to save myself that R300 a month. I too was 50/50 on whether I should go 200/100 or stay 100/50. The extra R3600 will go a long way and is something I can put towards servicing my car again, so in that sense, it's a win for me. Believe me, if I was not married and didn't have a kid (with another one in roundabout 2 years from now), I would've jumped to 200/100 :D
